    I don’t get it. Why are re-usable plastic bags more of a health risk than other bags?

      IT is the opposite. Reusable bags brought back each time to fill with groceries, etc. are a greater risk of bacterial or viral contamination. Plastic bags are free from such contamination. Environmentalists have tried to ban plastic bags as harming the environment through energy consumption and use of fossil fuels to make the plastic and form the bags.
